Broken PromisesHe swore he'd never hurt me.  And I believed him.  When I was a kid he was always there to comfort me.  I scraped my knees all the time, and he'd put Band-Aids on the sore spots  And kiss me  And rub my hair  And tell me everything would be all right.  When I was ten I would listen to his heart beat  And he'd lay there watching football  And even though I hated the sport  I'd stay with him  Because I loved him.  When I was eleven I went to summer camp.  And he was there when I got back  And welcomed me home with a big hug.  When I was twelve he got sick.  That was Broken Promises

I know I've been writing really weird poems lately; just to tell you, they don't reflect my personal life, for these reasons:

1. I don't have a boyfriend, let alone one who abuses me.
2. I don't cut.
3. I don't have any place I go with white walls.
4. I look upon self-injury as stupid.

Well, Broken Promises is about me when Dad died.
But that's it.
So.
Yeah.

For those of you who were afraid.
I'm fine. =)
